The Computer Maintenance and Assembling Unit (CMAU) of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka (RUSL) has officially relocated to a new facility located behind the Amaradeva Auditorium. This move is aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of IT maintenance and support services offered to the university community.
Established in 2010, CMAU plays a key role in supporting both academic and administrative operations through the maintenance and repair of computers, laptops, UPS systems, and other IT-related equipment.
The new location offers:
- Improved space for diagnostic and repair work
- Enhanced access for departments and staff
- Better facilities for the unit’s 6-month hands-on training program in computer assembling and maintenance
🛠 What CMAU Offers:
- Maintenance of desktops, laptops, and UPS systems (under 1KVA)
- Software installation, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Printer installation and network sharing
- Technical assessments for equipment requiring external repair
- Practical training programs for technical skill development
All staff are kindly reminded to continue submitting Maintenance and Service Requests through the existing Google Forms or via the department as usual.
